HackSpire is an exciting inter-university hackathon designed to foster innovation, creativity, and collaboration among developers from diverse backgrounds.

Students from selected universities who are passionate about coding and building innovative solutions can participate.

Yes! We encourage collaboration across universities. You can team up with participants from other institutions.

Students from all universities are eligible. For students outside Ahmedabad they would have to manage their accomodation on their own.

Teams should consist of 3 to 4 members.

The hackathon will feature curated problem statements involving domains like Web Development and AI/ML. Teams will choose from these real-world challenges and build impactful solutions.

No there is no registration fee.

You can register through the Devfolio link provided on the website. Each member must fill out the form accurately. Teams will be finalized on the First Come First Serve basis.

Yes, registered participants will be provided accommodation for the entire duration of the hackathon.

One lunch, one dinner, and one breakfast will be provided throughout the hackathon via food coupons. Participants may redeem them as needed.

Once checked in, participants must remain on-site for the entire duration of the hackathon. Leaving the venue is not allowed during the event. Participants can exit only after the result declaration.

The total prize pool is ₹1,00,000, distributed among the top 3 teams:
🥇 1st Place – ₹50,000
🥈 2nd Place – ₹30,000
🥉 3rd Place – ₹20,000

Judging will take place over 3 stages:
1️⃣ Initial Idea Screening
2️⃣ Mid-Hack Evaluation
3️⃣ Final Demo Round — Top 10 teams will present their solutions live in front of all attendees and judges.
Projects will be evaluated on innovation, technical execution, real-world impact, and presentation quality.
